Match report Fives reached the Essex Indoor Finals with a comprehensive 45 run win against Ardleigh Green.
Batting first Fives soon got on top of the Ardleigh bowlers consistantely running 3's at the start of the innings with Sheeny & Jacko impressing. Wickets in hand allowed TB & Norro to take more risks & they pushed the score along to a useful 152 at the close.
In reply Ardleigh were always behind the required run rate as the Fives bowlers / fielders kept up the pressure. Some late hitting by the lower order gave the score some respectability but Fives ended with a comfortable win.
A good performance, but Fives will need to reduce the number of wides which they bowled (16 in total) to progress further.
