Match report Fives suffered a narrow defeat despite putting in their best performance of the season to date. The opening pair of Kilpatrck and Neary put on 36 off the first 6 overs. Jake Poulter (JP) then continued the good work as Fives posted a competitive 83 off their allotted 12 overs against one of the better teams in the division. Pete being the first Fives batsman to retire at 25 this season. Fives struck early but Asian AK Stars then rebuilt and were cruising to victory. However some good catches off the ceiling put the game back in the balance as the opposition needed 14 off the last 4 with the last 2 at the crease. Fives couldnt dislodge either as we lost by two wickets. A much improved performance with Jake and Pete leading the way with bat, ball and in the field.
