Match report The first U13A match went well with the boys winning comfortably against loughton .
Harry lost the toss and was put into bat and although we made a brisk start we lost Wiliiam ( caught ) and Harry ( run out ) . The quick start served us well though and after Tom retired our two younger players Charles and Viraj batted well together both retiring . Isaru coming in late was unselfish in his attempt to score of every ball and the retired bats came back in to take us to 138 for 4
Loughton started well against our seamers . They bowled well but was able to take too many threes with some rusty fielding .
William took a very good catch off is arus bowling standing up and then Isaru had a fine direct hit but we managed to slow loughton down with our spinners . Viraj in particularly bowled beautifully and claimed loughtons last three wickets in a fantastic hat-trick to bowl the opposition out for 69 to win comprehensively.
