Match report A wet saturday saw FIves nearly clinch another victory.
Fives batted first looking to get a score which was not out of harlow reach to hopefully encourage the home side to chase the total. Edwards and Stevens got off to a good start reaching 61 before Edwards was trapped LBW. Gordon Whorlow just back from university looked to build upon a quality century against south woodford in the standard last week. Stevens began to accelerate the scoring backed up by whorlow who played the supporting role. Stevens posted his highest score this year so far of 117 before being dismissed by Nazir. Whorlow reached his half century and Fives declared on 213-3.

Harlow began their innings badly with 3 wickets falling the in the first four overs. Kay picked up the wicket of Odedra for 2 trapping him LBW. Tom Clark picked up the other two showing his good form with the ball at the moment. Clark continued to take wickets during his spell finishing with figures of 13-2-26-4. Peters bowled a lively spell managing to pick up 2 wickets for 10 runs off 7 overs, and it seemed as though Harlow had already given up the chase and decided to close up shop.

Harlow batsmen Nazir, Butler and Bauckham held there wickets and succesfully saved the team from defeat.

Positives - Stinky scoring runs like he should be. Gordy in great form. Clarky still taking wickets. 0 no balls.
