Match report After the U18 T20 victory previously this week, the U16 Matchplay side proved that lightening can, and does indeed, strike twice! On a gloriously hot day for batting, Arjun Minocha managed to call heads with the coin coming down tails, and Fives took to the field!

The Wells got off to a good start with Styles leading the way on 68, ably supported by A.Morgan who scored 47. Coming on as the 5th bowler, one half of the 'chuckle brothers', Will, turned the match in Fives' favour. He removed their top four batsmen and the run rate slowed dramatically. He was well supported by Ali who bowled well, taking 3 wickets in his second spell. A great last wicket partnership for Wells spoilt the party, when they put on 38 very important runs and got their total up to 224 just shy of their 40 overs.

In reply, Hugo took the attack to the Wells' bowling, scoring a majestic 57, setting the tone and tempo for our chase. Ali and Arjun also batted brilliantly and some fine hitting by Will got us to within touching distance of their target. It took Henry to hold his nerve and guide the side home with 2 balls to spare and for us to triumph in another very, very close contest!

There was a great team spirit and every boy played their part! A job well done!
