Match report We lost the toss and were inserted on a good batting track. However at 58 for 3 off 20 overs we looked in trouble. The top three batsman had been unable to master the short pitched delivery. At this point the skipper joined A Kadri to attempt to lay the foundations for a good score. At 113 for 3 off 37 overs it was time to launch an attack. The skipper led the way scoring 78 while Aqeel supported him with 68*. The partnership provided 143 runs in 27 overs incl. one six. We then lost our way for a few overs before ending up on 235 for 5.

In reply, it was 15 for one after 6 overs. Hornchurch then went on the attack and this proved to be very productive. In the end the bowlers provided too much width and bowled too short to be effective on this wicket. Uncle Yaz was the top bowler with 2 for 28 off 8 overs a lesson to all. Congratulations to Uriel on the run out and his allround effort.
