Just a reminder about Fives' involvement with the ECB allstars initiative:
We are delighted that the club is part of the new ECB Allstars campaign for the 2017 season.
This involves 8 fun, playful coaching sessions for 5-8 year olds to get them into cricket in a safe and and friendly environment. The sessions at the paddock will start on Friday 19th May from 5-6pm and will be at the same time for 8 weeks.
Our professional coach, Mikey Thompson, will be leading the sessions but it is also very much designed for parents to volunteer, join in with the games and coaching and get involved with the club.
The cost of the 8 sessions is only £40, £5 of which goes to the cricket club. As part of this very reasonable cost, the ECB provides every child with a pack that includes a cricket bat, ball, backpack, drinks bottle, personalised shirt and cap.
We already have a few kids signed up for these sessions but would love as many as possible to sign up and join in on these Friday nights. Please pass this on to any family and friends who have boys or girls aged between 5 and 8 who might be interested in joining up.
