Fives and Heronians Cricket Club - What we can offer your child

What Fives and Heronians offers your child

Fives and Heronians believe that our younger members are an essential part of the club and are vital to both our present and future success. We aim to do all we can to encourage and include younger players and make them feel a valued part of the Club, irrespective of their age, gender, ethnicity, level of ability or length of time with the Club. We also expect that youngsters should be able to enjoy their cricket and develop their abilities to their full potential in a safe environment, free from harassment, bullying or other risks.

We offer Colts cricket training for children from the age of 7 to 15 and from the age of 16, training is with the senior members. Fives and Heronians Colts train outside from Friday 20th April and we run an indoor Colts training programme during the Winter.

We encourage families to be involved in the club as much as possible, whether that be through attending social events or playing for the senior teams at the weekend. New volunteers are always welcome to help at the Club. We aim to run a Barbecue every Friday evening at training and for parents looking to quench their thirst on a hot summers evening, the bar will also be open. In addition to this, Colts and families are always welcome at senior matches throughout the year.
