Every year we all arrive at the Paddock at the start of the season and marvel at what a great place to play cricket it is. There is no doubt that we have one of the best grounds in Essex.
HOWEVER, the facilities do not magically prepare themselves for the first game and it is frequently due to the hardworking small 'core' of members that sightscreens are in position, nets are swept and fences and tables are in position. The old adage 'many hand make light work' is especially true for completing basic but fundamental tasks. Therefore, please do make yourself available for at least couple of hours to assist on either Saturday 13th or Sunday 14th April. Contact Dean Humphrey to let him know what and when you can offer assistance.
As an added incentive, the Committee will offer a few free drinks and snacks from the bar for those who attend.
