Match report Fives bowled first on an extremely damp day and showed very good discipline with the ball and ‎enthusiastic support in the field. Credit must go to Rohan Barodia and Viraj Gandhi (as well as the ‎numerous players at straight fine leg) for doing a sterling job in the fielding positions directly ‎behind the wicket! All bowlers bowled well and with standout performances from Jacob Ling (two ‎overs, four runs, one wicket), Viraj Gandhi (two overs, four runs, one wicket) and Charles Allan ‎‎(two overs for four runs), Fives had put themselves into a good position heading into their batting ‎innings.
‎
Sanjana Patel and Shaan Ullah opened the batting and looked solid in defence whilst being ‎purposeful in attack (both retiring after three overs respectively). In came the middle order who ‎continued to allow the runs to flow as the result of some effective calling and running between the ‎wickets (nice to see the hard work in training is coming off!). Stand out performer with the bat was ‎Charles Allen’s quick fire twelve coming off only three overs. In the end with contributions from ‎the lower order Fives were able to knock off the runs in the final over to complete a very good all ‎round performance. Well done to everyone!‎

MOM- Charles Allen for some exceptionally tight bowling and top scoring with the bat.
