Match report Not an ideal start of the season on not an ideal day for cricket.

Fives won the toss and elected to field on a green and damp wicket in windy conditions. We were playing with 10 player with 1 last minute drop out (Chirag).

Season is up and running and I hope lessons are learnt in the field by the team. Pick of the bowlers was young Tom Kelsey who picked three cruicial wickets in his first men's game ( 2 bowled and one LBW).

The match that otherwise would have been lost by poor shot selection by majority of the batsmen, was drawn by quality batting and and nearly 100 runs partnership between Abbas Mirza and Raheel Haider. All an all not a great result but some great individual efforts.

Hopefully we will get stronger as the season progresses further.
