Match report Lost the toss and asked to bat first. Elsenham made it difficult to score runs early and we were 25 for 3 off 5 overs. Then Mark Wheeler came to the wicket with the intention of attacking the bowlers. 68 then came in the next 5 overs as gaps were found. Derek Maddison performed a sub fielder role for them after an unfortunate collision between 2 of their players left one of them with a suspected fractured wrist.

In reply our bowling gave them too much width and the fielding was not up to scratch. In the end we lost with an over to spare. That is the season over. A nice pint of frothy ale was had by all after the match. Next step the summer.
