Match report This was a remarkable match in several ways. First, young Peter Kilpatrick in his first League match opened the innings and carried his bat for a near-flawless 133 n.o.. With useful support from Robbie Sheehan and a few lusty blows at the end from the skipper, Fives reached 239 for 5 in 50 overs. This early declaration enabled us to bowl a staggering 57 overs back but unfortunately we needed one more wicket which even the wily Bob was unable to snatch. Faisal also bowled well, better in his second spell when the copious number of samosas consumed at tea had had time to go down, and Peter could not be kept out of the game contributing two fine spells.
