I hope you are all well and looking forward to the new season after such a difficult winter. Hopefully the weather will continue to improve in the coming weeks and the grounds can get dry in time for the first games.
SUBSCRIPTIONS AND MATCH FEES
In terms of annual subscriptions and match fees, the costs for the 2021 season are as follows:
All annual subscriptions (juniors and adults): £60
Gold membership (to include annual subs and all match fees): £220 - this represents a considerable saving for regular players and saves the hassle of paying week by week!
Adult Match fees: £10 per match (it is bring your own teas again this year as per the ECB guidelines)
Match fees for juniors in adult matches: £5 per match.
This represents superb value for money considering what it costs to play at other clubs and when you consider that for the new season we are redecorating the clubhouse, have purchased a new bowling machine, 2 new sightscreens and will have lots of new training equipment to aid us in training sessions and before matches. Please pay your subs promptly into the club account, the details of which are below:

ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE NEW SEASON
We have some new players joining us this season along with a lot of old faces so we are excited about the new season and I know all the captains and vice captains are working hard to contact their squads and set out their ideas for the new season.
Please would you take a few minutes of your time to update your availability for the new season so that the captains are fully aware. Please do this on the website or message a captain. If you have informed a captain over the phone then that is absolutely fine as I can speak to them and update it accordingly. I really want to keep a close eye on this during the season so the more info people provide about when they can and can't play the better, and as far in advance as possible would be great too.
If anyone knows of any other players that are keen to join us, or at least play a friendly or two before deciding whether to commit to the club then please do let me know. Similarly if for whatever reason you have decided not to play for us this season then please do let me know or at least give me or one of the committee a call to have a chat.
The plan at the moment is to start the season with the 1st XI 50 hour continuous net on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th April. Then the first weekly outdoor training session for the 1st and 2nd XI will be on Wednesday 14th, the first one for the 3rd and 4th XI will be on Thursday 15th, and the colts training starts on Friday 16th. Then the 1st and 2nd XI mixed interclub game will take place on Saturday 17th April and friendly matches start in the weeks after that. Please do take a look at the fixture lists and update your availability in the usual way.
