Match report Electing to bat, Westcliff struggled against some tight bowling and excellent Fives fielding. Sooty with 3-43 from 19 overs was the pick of the bowlers although Rob Allum's 12 overs for 29 runs into a strong wind deserves a mention.Westcliff closed their innings on 151-9 from the full 52 overs.

Fives reply began well, James Foley and Neil Brathwaite putting on 43 before James was bowled for 19. Hoops in his new no 3 spot added 13 before Neil 'guided' a catch to the Westcliff keeperfor 31. Steve Ambridge and Hoops then added 40 before Hoops fell caught behind for a fine 31. Andy Hall playing his first game of the season then joined Slam in an unbroken match winning partnership of 47 achieved with 24 overs and 7 wickets remaining. Slam finished on 48 not out with Andy on 17 not out.
