Match report Ten man Fives recovered from a parlous 43-7 to reach 206-9 (all out) thanks to a splendid eighth wicket stand of 112 between Veejay Skandakumar and Rob Allum, Veejay recording 69 with 12 boundaries (to remain top of the averages!!) before being caught behind, Rob then added 51 for the last wicket with Keith Coleman before he was caught and bowled for 64 (1x6, 8x4). Keith remained 14 not out.

Whilst overjoyed at reaching 200, this joy soon turned to dismay as a very strong Wanstead side knocked off the runs in just 27 overs with the highlight being a brilliant 100 from 13 years old Gunalan he was supported by Patel whoscored a hard hit 82no.

Still, 9 points at 7 o'clock looked a whole lot better than the nil points that looked likely at about 2.30!

Congratulations to Wanstead who retained the League title with this win.
