Match report Lost the toss and invited to bat. Steady start from the skipper and a member of the Adcock family. Reached 59 off 6 overs with both openers in the hutch, skipper reached it 1st !!!. Middle order accelerated and a total of 108 looked a winning score. Well done Tim.

The bowling looked rusty and it came down to 15 off the last over to win. 2 wickets followed so it was 15 off 4 balls. A 3 and a 6 meant it was now 6 off 2 balls. A 3 off the penultimate ball meant 3 off the last ball. The batsman missed it totally but somehow they scampered a 2 with the stumps knocked everywhere and general confusion at the end. Anyway an enjoyable Thursday evening at Chelmsford with a glass of fruit juice to follow.
