Match report The A team continued their winning ways with an unconvincing win against Ilford. Batting 1st Bucko & Sheeny both struggled early on but eventually got into their stride , both retiring on 25. Braiths, Norro, Porks also struggled to make any impression & it was left to Chalks & Sheeny in the last 2 overs of the innings to increase the strike rate and eventually get Fives to 146-5. This included an incredible 8 off the last ball (batsmen run 3).
In reply Ilford batted well but were never quite up with the run rate throughout & Fives just did enough to win. Porks & Bucko the pick of the bowlers.
