Match report Fives longstanding winning run came to a halt on Saturday morning against a useful Buck Hill side.
The omens were not good as Fives lost the toss & fielded for the first time in memory.
However, they made a good start running out Bombers brother in the 1st over. With JK & TB bowling well Buck Hill struggled early on and were 40 for 4 halfway through their innings. But Buck Hill gained momentum & Fives oldboy Rusty batted well for 50 not out to take them to 131.
In reply, Fives lost Sheeny run out without facing a ball and Bucko soon followed. Norro continued his good recent form retiring on 25 but Fives were behind the required run rate. Bomber tried his best, also getting to 25 but Fives were all out well short of the required target.
A poor performance before next weeks Reginal playoff game.
