Match report A high scoring game on a small pitch ended with Fives being unable to whittle
out the final 2 Snaresbrook wickets and resulted in a draw. Batting first we
set a high total of 281-4 which was built around an excellent 115 from Ian
Rotsey, who received good support from the other batsmen. In reply
Snaresbrook made a quick start with their Aussie opener making 87 out of a
score of 100-1 before he fell caught and bowled to MacDonald. The rest of the
Snaresbrook order never really looked like reaching the target and the game
fizzled out into a draw despite regular wickets falling, mostly to MacDonald.
