Match report Fives won the toss for the 5th game running and opted to bat. We made a good start in getting to 65 for 0 off 10 overs with Matt Adcock blasting a quick 42. We then wobbled in reaching 81 for 4 against some hostile bowling usually seen in 2nd team cricket. Pete Kilpatrick came in at 6 and batted very well for 43. Steve Adcock showed his experience and made an excellent 62 taking Fives to 220 for 7 off 52 (or so the skipper thought but was actually 50 overs). Sooty opened the bowling and caused havoc as Wanstead were 24 for 4, as they struggled with the lack of pace on the ball and never recovered. Chris Campbell took 4 catches as Wanstead were all out for 117 with 16 overs of the last 20 to go. Excellent win and performance.
