Match report Walthamstow won the toss and batted first. We made a good start in the field, having the opposition 11-2 within the first four over’s, however to six drop catches left us facing a challenging target of 224 to win the game.
Positive points of note in the field came from Michael Knapton with figures of 3-67, Jo Samuels and Haider Bukhari took two wickets each.
Our innings go off to a good start, however after the fall of the first wicket, we steadily lost wickets at regular interval to post a disappointing 137 all out.
Priyesh Amin with 31 and Xavi Butt with 19 put up any real resistance, both batted really well.
Looking forward to next season, both Prishen and Xavi can add something extra to our sometimes fragile batting line up.
