Match report The A Team reached the Essex Indoor final with a hard fought win over Coggeshall.
Batting first Fives got off to a solid start before losing Edwards for 18. Buxton soon retired with 25, but it was all downhill from here as Fives threw their wickets away to be reduced to 83 all out in the 11th over. 4 wickets being lost to catches at mid off tells the story.
In reply Coggeshall also struggled with the bat as the Fives opening bowlers, Kay & Buxton bowled good opening spells. Backed up by some brilliant fielding particulary from the evergeen Edwards, Fives reduced Coggeshall to 40 for 5 with overs running out. Some late hitting gave Coggeshall hope but Ballard took the remaining wicket to send Fives through.
