Match report Having won the toss Fives elected to field first on a hot sunny day at Brentwood. On a great batting track wickets were going to be hard to come by, so it was credit to the Fives bowlers that they managed to restrict Brentwood to 240-9 of 52 at 4.20. All the bowlers chipped in with wickets and there was some smart catching mixed in as well. The turning point of Brentwood's innings was dismissing their overesea's big hitter at the half way stage. He was superbly caught on the boundary by the impressive Saul Foulds of the bowling of Rahul Bhome. After his dismissal it was pretty much spin all the way with the intention of getting to 52 overs as quickly as possible, whilst picking up any wickets on the way. Bhome and Harding bowled 25 overs between them in quick time and also shared 5 wickets to give Fives the upperhand at the halfway stage.

After the early dismissal of Foley all the top order chipped in with the run chase which was very well paced. Brathwaite(37), Foulds(51), Britton(78), Shahbaz(36*) and Swash (26), all batted sensibly in the run chase with good partnerships being the key. This saw Fives win by the margin of 5 wickets to record their 8th win out of 10 games this season.
