Match report Old Parks elected to bat first on a good dry wicket and a fast outfield.
Old Parks were in trouble early against some tight bowling from H Rafique (4-34) however, a good 5th wicket partnership saw them raise the score to near 150. D Maddison (3-43) then took 2 vital wickets and helped restrict Old Parks to 199. A disappointingly high score mainly as a result of some indifferent bowling and ground fielding.

In reply F&H were soon in trouble with just skipper for the day C Franklin (39) hanging around. At 108-7 H Rafique (89) was joined by M Ayrton (14) in a partnership that could have provided us with an expected win. Once both Michael and Heron were out the tail folded and we ended up losing by 5 runs with 8 overs to spare. The key lesson for the day was not to try to hit every ball for 6 especially when the slow bowlers are on.
