Match report Fives A team got back to winning ways with a narrow victory against Frenford.
Fives bowled first & put Frenford under early pressure with good bowling from JK & Bucko. It took some late hitting from the Frenford batters to see them up to the 100 mark. Mention must be gives to the fielding which was much improved on previous weeks with TB & Ben taking brilliant catches and run out from direct throw from Gary.
In reply Fives started steadily but lost early wickets of Bucko / Ben. Although keeping wickets in hand Fives struggled to get on top of the Frenford bowlers in the middle part of the innings and it wasnt until TB came to the crease that some much needed momentum was found with a quickfire 20. Fives reached the target with 4 balls to spare & the wickets of Gary & JK still remaining.
A better performance but batting still has room for improvement
