Match report The A team narrowly beat Ilford after a sub standard display.
Batting 1st (as usual) the guys started steadily picking up 62 off the first 6 overs. TB picked up the pace with a quick fire 25 and Gary & Ben batted well in the last couple of overs to get Fives to a competitive 143.
In reply Ilford started well keeping up with the required run rate and at the half way stage were well on course for victory until the last 2 overs where JK & Ed bowled well to prevent Ilford from reaching the target.
This was a poor display from the A team and they will need to significantly improve the bowling & fielding to retain their title this year.
