Scorecard

Brentwood Buccaneer v Fives and Heronians Cricket Club Indoor League 'D' on Sat 04 Dec 2010 at 11.00 am
Fives and Heronians Cricket Club Lost by 2 wickets

Match report Fives batted first and after an early run-out looked set for a good total ‎until a flurry of wickets in the second half of the innings put a end to our ‎hopes of getting a big score. James opened and after a calling ‎misunderstanding with Rob batted well, but was caught off the wall at the far ‎end attempting another six. Mark and Nick put a stand together with Mark ‎batting on his own from the tenth over to bat out the 12 overs, taking Fives ‎to a total of 89 hitting a good six at the end.‎

Rob opened the bowling, alternating with Zavi and both bowled well. Zavi got ‎the breakthrough and the keeper took a catch at almost indoor cover point ‎after the ball went spinning into the air. Zavi also featured in next wicket ‎returning the ball speedily to the keeper. James could have had a wicket in ‎his first over if the keeper (myself) could have reacted to an edge a touch ‎faster. Mark took two good catches, the second one off Nick was travelling ‎like a bullet into his midriff, but he managed to cling on to it. Brentwood ‎however managed to sneak home in the tenth over, despite this can't complain ‎at what was a pretty good team performance, but there's plenty of room for ‎improvement
