Match report An injury to to Kishan meant that Graham Sibley come into the side at the last minute and saved Sooty ‎having to keep much to the relief of all concerned but especially the scorers.( Byes )Fives batted first ‎and it was a case of who had the pads on first,so James Sibley and Rahul went out first.A good first ‎over brought 11 runs. Rahul who appears to have shot up 6” in no time tripped over his own feet so ‎the first wicket was lost in the second over,quickly followed by Graham bowled neck and crop. A good ‎stand between James and Rob Allum steaded the ship the score didn’t exactly rocket but we were not ‎losing wickets so a rush towards the end was on.James retired for a good 25 in the eighth over,Joe had ‎a go to push the score on but was out quickly.Sooty then tried to push on encouraged by Keith Hurst ‎but failed .Rob was run out just before reaching his twenty five,so James returned.He couldn’t quite ‎getting going again was run out in the last over.The innings closed on 78 possibly as it turns out 10 runs ‎short. Rob and James opened the bowling and it proved difficult for Walthamstow to push on.James ‎bowled three overs straight off for very few runs.Sooty got Walthamstow back into the game but also ‎picked up a couple of wickets.to make things a bit tight.Joe took a fantastic full length diving catch ‎things were getting tight.On cames Rahul and in his only over picks up two wickets.Walthamstow five ‎down.We are in the last over, 4 to win in the last over,but fives couldn’t manage to get a win which for ‎all their hard work they deserved.Rahul and Joe were outstanding in the field.‎
