Match report Raphael won the toss and elected to bat. They made a solid start with the opener reaching 25 in the 5th over. However, top quality fielding from the skipper 1 runout and 2 catches (including 1 off the wall) caused Raphael to collapse. A freak run out in the last over meant that they ended up 71 all out. Derek bowled particuarly well with bounce and turn.

In reply JT and the skipper had a steady start but soon accelerated to 40 runs off the 1st 4 overs. JT then retired with 27 in the 5th over. Derek then batted and saw the side home to victory with an over to spare.

A good victory and a big thanks to Tim for turning out at such short notice. Barnet to Chelmsford in an hour. Tim could have stayed in the warm but ended up playing cricket for F&H when we were desperate.
