West Essex v Fives and Heronians Cricket Club Indoor League 'C' on Sat 12 Feb 2011 at 12.00 noon
Fives and Heronians Cricket Club Won by 2 wickets
Match report
Fives won their 5th game in 6 with another nail biting finish. West Essex raced to 40 for 1 off their first 5 overs, but Jamie P with a brutal 6th over put WE on the back foot as they lost a bit of impetus and only scored a par 97. Ben Bacon also bowled very well. In reply Fives got off to a sluggish start, but firstly Neary came in at 3 and got a bit of impetus into the innings along with Pete (retired) before Jake (retired) and Streaky ran WE ragged with excellent indoor cricket We needed 6 off the last over with 3 wickets in hand and won with a couple of balls to spare. We are probably safe from relegation now and have a 1% chance of getting promoted.
