Match report Fives lost the toss and were inserted on a baking hot day at Chelmer Park.

Dan and Sheeny opened up and Dan made batting look so easy, it was an absolute pleasure to watch. The timing and shot selection were top class. His mix up with Gary lead to him being run out. From 70 for 0 off 17, we surrendered the early initiative not helped by some dubious umpiring decisions.

The early run out of Paveling and wickets of a fired up and determined Jk left Chelmsford reeling at 14 for 3 Dan taking an outstanding one handed catch.

However, we lost impeteous and Chelmsford were moving slowly but serenely to their victory target. However a couple of wickets left Chelmsford needing 20 odd with 3 wickets in hand.

They managed to hit the winning runs in the penultimate over, with 2 wickets left. It was a superb bowling performance especially from Chris White, JK & TB, combined with some outstanding ground fielding especially from rusty.
