Match report Disappointing to lose this game after such a good opening partnership by Bucko and Sheeny. We were tied down in the middle overs as Westcliff took the pace off the ball and ended up about 30 short of a decent score off 40 overs on a flat Paddock wicket.

Disaster struck in only the 2nd over in the field as skipper JK felt his back / side go after bowling only 4 balls. Fielding for 30 overs with 10 men and lacking a frontline bowler cost us dearly. Sheeny rotated his bowlers and people did their best, with Westcliff struggling on 80 for 4 at one stage. However a couple of batters in their middle order chanced their arm a bit and batted sensibly at the right time, and they got over the line only 4 wickets down in the penultimate over.
