Match report One of the best fielding performance from Fives shows what they are capable of. Fives lost the toss and put on to bat, after failing to capitalise the pitch by openers and early order batsman, Craig played a stylish innings of 50 not out to show the class of his batting. Nick and Mark provided support to Craig to reach his fifty and who aimed for 175 that could have brought another 2 points to Fives.
Fives started their bowling attack with veteran Roger B and young Mark. Both bowled excellently where they beat the bat often that opposition batsman had difficulties of playing them. Mark has shown his maturity by bowling on the spot and swinging the ball often. First change Nick came and started his spinning attack and Haider growing as a leg spinner. Eventually it was a winning match that the opponents escaped narrowly.
Fielding was spot on especially Adam, Hammad and throwing at the wicket was spot on. Highlight was Hammad's reflection attempt to hold the ball and it got going the team. Did I mention the keeping, it was excellent where Kula took 3 stumping, but unfortunately the umpires gave only one.
Not to mention the opponents umpiring was a shambles and shame to their cricket, but it was a good game for Fives.
