Match report Not an unfortunate occasion, that 3rd team ended up with 8 Players. There were dropouts in 1st and 2nd and not gathering the correct information of availability players didn't help getting 11 players together for the 3rds.
3rd work hard on batting and bowling to keep the opponents within bay but failed to win the match. Match was about to be called off due to non availability of players and not being able to move player from other teams.
Team played as it was a six a side game to avoid being penalised by the league. But these kind of scenarios need to be changed and club policy on moving players up wards or down wards need to be consistence throughout the teams.
Lost the match simply for the reasons above.
All the players played well, fantastic fielding and batting performance from the team.
With 8 players 3rd gained 7 points and opponents only had 15 overs spare to finish. Well done guys and thanks for playing yesterday
