Match report Very good match with good team sprit spoilt by bad umpiring from the opposition. Not to mention that the opponents captain apologies for the issue and all sorted.
Fives lost the toss and as expected took up the fielding in the hot weather. Opponents scored 298 for 5. Especially Rob bowled very well and on his first spell. There was an incident where Rob should have presented with a caught behind that should have been given out by the umpire, instead umpire didn’t hear the nick due to his ear operation and batsman didn’t walked as expected. This made Rob to deliver his next vital delivery with under arm action, which obviously started the spark.
Fives started the match knowing there aren’t enough over to score 299, they marched for the points and precisely obtained those through some excellent batting from Mark H (70), Roger B(33) and Raggi(25no).
