Match report On a very windy morning Fives won the toss and had no hesitation in batting. Unfortunately things started ‎badly as we lost the first wicket on the very first ball. A brisk partnership led by Chris Coveney meant the ‎run rate was healthy and runs were flowing. Rahul though not at his fluent best kept the runs ticking and ‎assisted by Umar and Louise Poulter moved the score along before Rahul was retired. A quick cameo from George at ‎the end meant Fives put up a very good score of 136 in their 20 overs.‎

Woodford Wells also lost a wicket in their first over thanks to a good over from George. Nasir, though he went ‎for runs, picked up two of Wells' main batsmen including their captain. Wells, not withstanding, continued ‎scoring runs but were again stunned by a pheonemal catch by Rahul who dived backwards to take a one ‎handed catch - one of the best catches of the season so far. Fives continued to bowl well to restrict Wells to ‎only 116 in their 20 overs.‎
