Match report For once glorious weather greeted the teams at The Paddock. Fives won the toss ‎anFd elected to bat getting off to a quick start with Rahul and Michael sharing an ‎opening partnership of 67 before Michael was caught for 21. He was followed by ‎Malveer and Haroon but this did not deter Rahul who smashed his way past 50 and ‎like an express train gathering momentum raced to his century hitting an incredible ‎twenty fours and one six before he was retired 108 not out. The players and ‎supporters both home and away joined in saluting Rahul on his magnificent ‎innings.‎
Quick runs from George, Umar and Nick ensured that Fives reached an amazing ‎‎239 for 5 in their 30 overs.‎

When Hornchurch went into bat, good opening spells of bowling from Daniel and ‎Nasr prevented the opposition from getting off to a flyer. After Nasr made the initial ‎breakthrough, wickets fell regularly with David and Isaru picking up two apiece and ‎Nick, Haroon and Malveer also getting in on the act. Hornchurch were bowled out ‎for 57 and a massive win was completed.‎

This was a great team effort with a standout performance from Rahul.‎
