Match report Fives won the toss and elected to field, a good decision by George who got a wicket ‎with the first ball of the match. Nick also took a wicket in his first over which left ‎Stansted at 4 for 2. Good bowling and keen fielding kept the run rate down with Isaru ‎getting a deserved wicket to break a long partnership from the home side. George ‎came back to take a wicket with the first ball of his second spell and despite some ‎late order hitting, the home side could only muster a below par 124. George finished ‎with outstanding figures of 4 for 10 in his 6 overs.‎

Fives reply got off to a similar start when the openers were out before the score ‎reached double figures. However George and Isaru steadied the ship and became ‎increasingly confident, with George finding the boundary regularly. He reached his ‎‎50 which was greeted to warm applause from his team mates. Isaru finally went for ‎an excellent 24 but George joined by Umar carried on and looked set to complete a ‎convincing victory until he was bowled for 62 with only 5 runs required. However ‎Umar and Malveer followed immediately and it took Nasr batting down the order due ‎to injury to get Fives over the line.‎

An enjoyable match played by two sporting sides.‎
