Match report Chingford won the toss and batted first on a hot day. Haroon struggled a little to find his usual rythm due to a niggle in his back but still managed to take an early wicket. Thereafter the pick of the bowlers was Uncle Yaz plugging away into a strong breeze to clean bowl three and have two smart stumpings taken by Tim Nash, happily returning to his best form.

A target of 194 on the best track at Peter May looked well within reach and so it proved as Clive and Uncle Yaz got us off to an excellent start. With the asking rate hovering just over 5 an over the injured Skipper came in with little intention of running many and clouted a rustic 19 in less than three overs to tip the balance Fives' way. By this time Clive was dehydarted and suffering leg cramps but he fought through it to carry his bat for 82*, a rare occurance in any 4th team. On any other day he would have been man of the match but Yaseen's 5 for 25 and brisk 40 just pipped him.
