Walthamstow won the toss and put Fives into bat as the heavens opened and delayed match by 30 mins. As ‎the rain ceased slightly the boys decided they wanted to play in whatever weather so the game ‎commenced. This time it was Chris's turn to depart early after a brief 6 runs. Ashish playing the holding role ‎scored a secure 31 while Rahul put the bowlers to the sword with a quickfire 31, only 4 dot balls in his ‎innings. Nasir continued where he left off on sunday with another 30, all 3 having to retire. After these only ‎‎5 overs were left so the tail again swung the bat but missed the ball !!

Walthamstow then batted but we always looked in control, what could be seen through the rain and ‎darkness !!! Nasir took first 4 wickets and it looked like another showcase day for him, then Michael, relived ‎of gloves for a game took 2 wickets and Malveer 1 to mop up the innings ... except for one last hurrah by ‎Viraj 1 over, 1 wicket, one run !!!
