Match report Fielding a strong side plus one (7 players turned up) fives lost the toss and WW decided to bat ‎as they had already tried to get Jake to let them do before the toss.Wells lost opener Mark ‎Webb in the first over and lost wickets throughout due to good disciplined bowling and ‎catching, including Steve Doig behind the stumps claiming he had never fielded there before ‎and watching him it could be believed!Also some very useful stops in the field put pressure on ‎the batsmen to play shots which led mean that WW finished their innings with 96 but only ‎batting 9 and a bit overs.The innings started well with Jake and Pete scoring slowly but keeping ‎wickets in hand which Wells had failed to do.Ex Fives player Tom Clark started with wides in his ‎first over but his second and third overs only concede only more fives runs and had 2 ‎LBWs.Fives were now struggling and perhaps the only thing on their minds were bonus points ‎and a “well played “ from the Wells.At forty odd for five the game looked hopeless.Those of ‎little faith as Pete still in and JK his runner ran WW raged .Last over 23 need.Those who think ‎they know about cricket would say you need a boundary.Well you don’t if you run every ball ‎having placed your shots in space and WW captain Rory Ellison bowls a no ball which you get a ‎total of 4 off.This lead to 22 off the last over and a tie.Pete 65 not out.It is believed to be the ‎first game WW had not won since rejoining the league.
