Match report Five and Heronians played Loughton B at Bancrofts on 18 November, 2011. Our team was Ali Cayir (C), ‎Daniel Chinaloy, Ashish Gandhi, Malveer Marwa, Milan and David Paris. We won the toss and put Loughton ‎into bat. They lost a player in the first over but managed to score consistently throughout their innings and ‎hit a number of sixes. One of their players was retired after reaching 25. David Paris his first time playing ‎for Fives managed to get a player caught off his bowling. Loughton finally managed to get 101 all out from ‎‎11.4 overs, as per normal we gave away far too many wides and no balls in extras.

Fives got off to a bad start losing Daniel Chinaloy being caught behind for 4 in the second over, but Ali Cayir ‎and Ashish Gandhi steadied the ship and managed to retire after both getting 25 apiece. Our newest recruit ‎Milan to the side got 21 important runs for Fives, Loughton gave away too many extras for their coaches ‎liking, 4 wides being bowled in the last over and Ali finishing off the match with a great 6. Ali's final figures ‎was 31 runs and the final score being 104 for 3 off 11.2 overs.
