Match report After being stuck in on a wet wicket, Fives were always struggling with the bat, losing regular wickets. Bilal and Kishen did well to dig in and get us up to a respectable score on a difficult pitch. The bowling and fielding were both excellent throughout the whole Loughton innings, but they were always very much in the box seat. Loughton needed 35 to win off 5 overs with 7 wickets in hand and seemingly cruising to victory. However good death bowling from Bilal and then Stuart and JK (and a crucial run out by Rahul Patel and JK at the start of the 18th over) saw Fives claw back the initiative and snatch victory from the jaws of defeat in the last 3 overs. This was a superb performance in the field from a side lacking 5 or 6 genuine 1st team players. We are now top of the T20 group with 3 wins out of 3. Harlow Town visit the Paddock on Monday night for our last group game.
