Match report Fives U13 recorded a comfortable 36 run victory against Woodford wells on Friday .
Losing the toss we batted first . Tom and Charles got us off to a brisk start and the fine tempo continued all the way to the last over .
With Charles unfortunately retiring hurt and Tom soon after retiring , William and Harry took us to the end of the eighth over with 90 odd runs on the board . With William retired we then decided to go for a large total .
Things didn't quite move on as anticipated due to a couple of wickets being lost trying to hit out and we ended up on 120 for 5 .
We bowled extremely well in defending our total . Our spinners ( viraj 1 , william 2 wickets ) bowled with great control and our seamers Harry and Isaru ,one wicket apiece , consistently beat the bat . Our field was very well set between skipper and bowler and the game was sown up from very early on .
Tom kept very well with 2 catches and a stumping to round off a fine performance .
