Match report So down to our final hoorah.
Portia again won the toss and decided to bat first.
This really was a great performance with the first four batsman retiring and our final two running everything on offer, plus a few that weren't, we finished on 138 without losing a wicket.
We were equally impressive in the field. Portia getting the ball rolling taking a wicket with the first ball, with catches from Jack and Portia, Bill taking a stumping and George cleaning up the number three bat, Woodford Green were bundled out for 44.
It was a fitting end to the season which has, for me at least, has been a lot of fun.
Wev'e offered matches to over 10 colts and played some really good cricket in a fantastic spirit.
Lost 2 drawn 1 and won 6, not a bad return and we may still steal second spot.
