Match report Fives enjoyed a comfortable win against local rivals Buckhurst Hill. Fielding first, all the bowlers were disciplined and economical with wickets being taken at regular intervals. Special mention must be given to Rahul Patel who bowled a wicket maiden, a feat almost unknown indoors. Buckhurst Hill were dismissed for 89 within the twelve overs.

In reply Fives recovered from the early loss of wickets thanks to a solid partnership between Kishen Patel and Jake Poulter. Sensible batting saw both retire which brought Hugo Blogg and John Kay to the crease and these two made light work to hit the remaining runs in some style. JK carefully played himself in - hitting the first two balls he faced back over the bowlers head for sixes !

Overall a pleasing win and with just one defeat so far the side remain promotion candidates.
