Match report Bower Park failed to turn up for the fixture and Loughton very kindly agreed to stay on to play a 10 over friendly. Batting first, Fives got off to a sticky start, losing 2 very early wickets. Portia and Nick started a recovery before Nick was out. We lost our 4th wicket without scoring but Portia and Joseph upped the tempo, with some excellent hitting and running between the wickets to bring the total to 87 off the 10 overs. Portia ended up not out on 40 and Joseph, also not out, on 21.

In reply, Loughton batted solidly but with Fives taking wickets at regular intervals, it left Loughton requiring 7 off the last over with only 1 wicket remaining. A single and a six secured victory for Loughton.
