Match report Facing Walthamstow in the second of the double headers we were once again invited to bat first having lost the toss.
Again we started well and although Jack was caught off the net hitting overe the top on 18, Billy, Portia and Finley were safely back in the hutch giving Nick (11) and Harry (9) some freedom to bat both being caught taking the bowlers on.
Billy and Portia returned both finishing not out, Bill 33* and Portia top scoring on 37* with some very clean hitting.
Chasing a daunting 151-3 Walthamstow had to play their shots and the pressure showed early as we almost forced a run out in the first over.
We learnt our lesson from the first match and the fielding and bowling were very tight building the pressure on the opposition .
Their opener fell to Jack who took the first catch off of Fins bowling.
Harrys turn and bounce proved too much combined with some quick glovework from Bill they were two down early on.
Nick was pick of the bowlers narrowly missing out on a hat-trick but still picking up 3 wickets with Finley taking 2 at gully and Billy taking an edge behind.
A run out capped off a very impressive all round performance leaving Walthamstow all out for 48.
