Match report Fives won the toss and inserted the opposition, who then got off to a flyer. Fives stuck to their guns and eventually got some control into the proceedings, when Wang was introduced into the bowling attack. The fielding was really good and with only ten men taken the field, it had to be. Epping eventually declared on 220-6, with Wang taking 3-49, from 17.4 overs.
Fives reply got off to a even more explosive start than Epping’s innings did, with Steve Doig taking the lead. Chris got a good one from their opening bowler (a Girl) and was quickly replaced by Roger, who shared a good partnership with Steve.
With Steve and Roger at the crease, the total looked gettable, even after Steve went for a very entertaining 49.
Jack Dennis and Billy Amas provided brilliant support to Roger, then for each other, after Roger went for a quite boring 80.

Well done, a brilliant team effort after last week’s batting debacle.
